Six Principles of Global Manipulation
Uploaded on Mar 7, 2011 By ABP53 (youtube)

Look beyond the superficial…

Truth must be measured. One has to know by some means “This is the truth and this is a lie.” One framing a stud wall knows he is laying it out 16 inches on center… How??? Because he measured first…

How does one know they serve the One God and not one or more of the many gods? How does one get to know anyone they know?

Listen to what they say, read what they have written, observe carefully what they do and have done.

All the gods are hypercrites. They say one thing and do another. They are tricksters. Their only power is in the sway they hold over the masses of people that worship them. They have no power of their own beyond the power of lies and manipulation of large groups of people, the larger the group, the better. They cannot create anything on their own. They can only take, and they take by trickery. The mark of the false god is that he needs mankind, because he is a parasite feeding on mankind.

The True God is the Only God that keeps His Word. He does not say one thing and do another. He does not need you or the many thousands like you. His power does not come from tricking the masses of mankind as is the case with those who are counterfeits.

He does want worshipers, but He will not lie to get their love…
John 4:23-24 (NIV)
… Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth…

So… If you are one of those who seek Him, then He invites you to see how He measures up. The truth does not fear investigation. All the liars fear truth and cannot stand the light of truth. The Almighty is Truth.   —Editor

No Evidence of Iranian Nuclear Weapons or VOA Bias

online.wsj.com

By David Ensor    January 23, 2013, 4:03 p.m. ET

In his Jan. 7 op-ed “At Voice of America, Complaints About Its Iranian Coverage,” Sohrab Ahmari quotes an Iranian blogger who called my statements in a VOA interview on Iranian nuclear program “sophistry.” I said that there is no diversion of Iran’s nuclear program toward weaponization and that Iran complies with the Safeguard Agreement (SA) of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Since 2003, after more than 4,000 man-day inspections, the IAEA has frequently declared the nondiversion. Not only the IAEA, but also the world powers confirm the “nondiversion” of the Iranian nuclear program toward a bomb. The U.S. National Intelligence Estimate’s assessment in 2007 and 2011 concluded that Iran does not have an active nuclear-weapons program; there is no conclusive evidence that Iran has made any effort to build a nuclear bomb since 2003; and that the Iranian leadership has not yet made a political decision to build an actual weapon.

Iran does not possess any type of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and has signed all major international treaties repudiating the possession of weapons of mass destruction including biological, chemical and nuclear.

It is important to note that the disputes between the IAEA and Iran are centered on inspections beyond the framework of the SA, namely for Iran to accept the Additional Protocol (AP), a protocol that over 70 countries have not accepted, and to address the issues related to possible military dimensions (PMDs) which requires inspections beyond the realm of even the AP.

Nevertheless, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi recently indicated Tehran’s readiness to cooperate on these demands. In return, Iran expects recognition of its legitimate right to enrichment under the nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and the lifting of sanctions.

The West’s highest priority in nuclear talks has centered on Iran’s 20% enriched uranium. Since 2010 Iran has frequently proposed to stop 20%, capping its enrichment at 5% in return for fuel rods, but the West declined.

There is no need for Washington to repeat the 2003 folly of attacking Iraq, in which thousands of U.S. men and women were killed and injured, costing trillions of dollars and bringing destruction to Iraqi infrastructure and killing many more thousands—with no achievement. Rather, it is prudent for the U.S. and the world powers to take the higher moral ground and try a genuine diplomatic effort to resolve not only the nuclear crisis but move toward ending 33 years of hostility with Tehran.

Seyed Hossein Mousavian

Princeton, N.J.

Mr. Mousavian is a former Iranian ambassador to Germany and a former spokesman for Iran’s nuclear negotiators.

Mr. Ahmari is wrong to claim that Voice of America’s Persian Service is “often distorted by an editorial line favoring rapprochement with the mullahs.” He Mr. Ahmari supports the claim with a pair of quotes, taken out of context from an extensive interview with former Iranian nuclear negotiator Seyed Hossein Mousavian, but the full transcript shows the former Iranian official being questioned pointedly by VOA host Siamak Dehghanpour. In response to Mr. Mousavian’s claim that Iran “is in full compliance” with IAEA safeguards, Mr. Dehghanpour asked, “Should Iran let inspectors visit Parchin military complex?” and “Given the history of mistrust and lack of confidence on both sides, how can Iran assure the U.S. that its intentions are peaceful, especially since Iran’s nuclear activities re-started covertly with individuals such as Abdul Qadir Khan in Pakistan?” At one point Mr. Dehghanpour asked, “Why not come clean?” and “Is the Supreme Leader genuinely worried that compromise will eventually lead to the end of the Islamic Republic?”

The anonymous source’s claim that interview terms were “dictated” by Mr. Mousavian is also false. Mr. Ahmari could have asked, and we would have confirmed, that no preconditions were agreed to by VOA.

Finally, Mr. Ahmari’s decision to quote an unnamed source stating VOA does not care about its audience is irresponsible. The claim is absurd. For 70 years, VOA has been a beacon of hope to people in repressed and information-denied areas, and we are proud that more than one in five adult Iranians tune in to VOA every week, making it one of the most popular international broadcasters in the country.

Women in combat a dangerous experiment

www.cnn.com

By Jerry Boykin, Special to CNN    Sat January 26, 2013

Editor’s note: Lt. Gen.(Ret.) Jerry Boykin, is executive vice president of the Family Research Council. He served in the U.S. Army for 36 years, is an original member of the Delta Force and former commander of the Green Berets. He formerly served as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

(CNN) — On Thursday, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced that the Obama administration would allow women to be placed in positions that will expose them more directly to fighting with enemy ground forces. It is said that this will allow women to fill hundreds of thousands of combat roles from which they are currently excluded. Substantively, this is a poor idea. Furthermore, the decision-making process used to bring this change about is deeply flawed.

America’s ongoing war against terror-supporting states and terror networks, commenced after 9/11, has seen an increased combat role for women in the U.S. armed forces. According to recent news accounts, more than 800 have been wounded and more than 130 have died. Clearly, women have fought honorably, bravely and with great distinction.

The greater inclusion of women has allowed our armed forces to tap into an enormous pool of talent and character. And as the casualty figures above indicate, the current posture of the U.S. armed forces is not one in which women are leading cloistered, sheltered lives. They are often exposed to great danger. So, what is it then that President Obama and Panetta are doing?

Under the policy, women may end up being placed in infantry and Special Forces battalions and other front line combat units. To doubt the wisdom of this action does not reflect on the courage or abilities of female service members. But the step crosses a line worthy of greater deliberation and public debate.

The proof that this decision is ideologically and not militarily based is its very sweeping nature. It appears that the people who did this are engaged in a vast social experiment in which hundreds of thousands of men and women will be the guinea pigs. We are now testing a hypothesis that may impair the military effectiveness of our ground forces.

The slots that may be opened are in our infantry and Special Forces units. The purpose of such units is to directly and physically engage enemy forces. This can often involve personal, hand-to-hand combat in which women will now have to fight men.

These units can often be deployed in prolonged operations that can last for months. The physical toll is constant and wearing. During operations of this kind there is typically no access to a base of operations or facilities. Consequently, living conditions can be abysmal and base.

There is routinely no privacy or ability to maintain personal hygiene for extended periods. Soldiers and Marines have to relieve themselves within sight of others. Think back to those scenes of combat in Vietnam, the Pacific in World War II, or the frozen mountains of Korea. It isn’t pretty, and the same is happening now in Afghanistan.

This combat environment — now containing males and females — will place a tremendous burden on combat commanders. Not only will they have to maintain their focus on defeating the enemy in battle, they will have to do so in an environment that combines life-threatening danger with underlying sexual tensions. This is a lot to ask of the young leaders, both men and women, who will have to juggle the need to join and separate the sexes within the context of quickly developing and deadly situations.

Is the experiment worth placing this burden on small unit leaders? I think it is asking too much.

Something as momentous as this should be endorsed by the Congress of the United States. Ideas like these have been percolating within corners of the Defense Department for years waiting to be unleashed. One study by the Congressional Research Service recommended that “women should be excluded from direct land combat units and positions.” Now, ideologues within the bureaucracy have prevailed, but a volunteer force has to maintain its legitimacy with the wider public. That is why the Constitution gives the Congress the power to shape and structure the military.

I worry about the women who are currently in the military. They have to know that the lines keeping them from infantry and Special Forces battalions will get blurrier and blurrier. What protections will they have against being thrown into front-line infantry units as organizational dividers soften and expectations change? Very little protection, I am afraid. Will they leave the military? This policy change may have the ironic effect of forcing women to reconsider their place in the armed services. If true, that would be tragic.

By the numbers: Women in the U.S. military

Congress should examine what the Department of Defense is doing here — really. The Congress must do some hard, nonideological work and assess job categories and physical requirements. Perhaps a special committee could be formed whose members actually served in the infantry and Special Forces. If it will not reverse the policy, then Congress needs to put in place a comprehensive, nonpoliticized system that will track the physical effects of these changes on women. The data needs to be made public, so there can be a fair, scientific assessment of this great experiment.

President Obama and Panetta have their agenda of change and transformation. The American public, however, should not sit back and leave the brave members of our armed forces susceptible to the whims of ideology. Men and women can serve together in the armed forces productively, but that service needs to be prudently structured in a manner that reflects the differences between the sexes and the power of their attractions.

Survey: Fewer Americans Believe Homosexuality Is a Sin; Nation’s View ‘Evolving’ With Obama’s?

www.christianpost.com

By Alex Murashko , Christian Post Reporter    January 12, 2013|8:42 am

Fewer Americans believe homosexuality is a sin than a little more than a year ago, according to a survey completed by a faith-based research group just 14 months after a similar study. Ed Stetzer, president of LifeWay Research, said the reason for the substantial shift is most likely the result of President Barack Obama’s “evolved” view of gay marriage.

Stetzer points out that halfway between the two polls Obama changed his pre-election (prior to first term) position concerning gay marriage.

“There is little doubt that the President’s evolution on homosexuality probably impacted the evolution of cultural values,” Stetzer states in his recent blog about the survey’s release on Thursday. “This is a real and substantive shift, surprisingly large for a one-year time frame – though this was hardly a normal year on this issue.”

A November 2012 survey of adults in the United States found 37 percent affirm a belief that homosexual behavior is a sin – a statistically significant change from a September 2011 LifeWay Research survey asking the same question. At that time, 44 percent answered, “Yes.”

In contrast, the percentage of Americans who do not believe homosexuality is a sin remains nearly the same between the two surveys – 43 percent in September 2011 and 45 percent in November 2012 indicate this belief, with an increase in the percentage of those unsure of what they believe. Seventeen percent in the November 2012 survey said, “I don’t know,” an increase of 4 percent over the September 2011 survey.

These findings from LifeWay Research come as Pastor Louie Giglio withdrew on Thursday from giving the benediction at Obama’s upcoming inauguration program in the face of criticism over a 15-year-old sermon referencing homosexuality as a sin. Stetzer noted the connection, saying, “The culture is clearly shifting on homosexuality and this creates a whole new issue: How will America deal with a minority view, strongly held by Evangelicals, Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, and so many others?”

The November 2012 survey also reveals Americans in the South (40 percent) are the most likely to select “Yes” to the question “Do you believe homosexual behavior is a sin?” as are Americans who attend religious services at least about once a week (61 percent), and those calling themselves “born-again, evangelical, or fundamentalist Christian” (73 percent).

Americans who never attend religious services are the most likely to say they do not believe homosexual behavior is a sin (71 percent).

“The issue at hand is an important one for many reasons,” Stetzer said. “First, as I mentioned in my last post, there is a sizable minority in the United States holding to traditional religious beliefs. As I stated earlier today, this is also an important moment as Americans consider a simple question: are people of faith no longer welcome as they continue to hold the beliefs they have always held?”

Stetzer said he believes the trajectory toward greater acceptance of homosexuality will continue. However, he said, “There will always be a sizable minority of people, often people of faith, who hold minority views. Increasingly, Americans will have to wrestle with how to be tolerant in more than one direction.

The Inaugural Committee’s decision to side with gay activists who are intolerant of Giglio’s position referenced in his sermon 15 years ago may have emboldened others to push the Bible even farther out of the ceremony.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell told his viewing audience on Friday that he is urging the president to not include the Bible in his inauguration on Jan. 21, The Blaze reported on its faith blog.

“After discussing Pastor Louie Giglio’s recent decision to remove himself from Obama’s choice of benediction speakers, O’Donnell launched into a tirade against the Bible and its presence at the historical event,” Blaze editor Billy Hallowell reported. “In addition to defending the gay rights movement against Giglio’s nearly-20-year-old sermon, the MSNBC host dismissed the Bible as an antiquated book that virtually nobody can agree with in its entirety.”

LifeWay Research – Methodology: The survey, conducted Nov. 14-16, 2012, sampled an online panel representing the adult population of the United States. Responses were weighted by region, age, ethnicity, gender, and education to reflect the population. The completed sample of 1,191 surveys provides a 95 percent confidence that the sampling error does not exceed +2.9 percent. Margins of error are higher in subgroups.

Congress leader invokes blessings of Hanuman

15 kg, 21-inch brass idol will reach Obama by August 24

NEW DELHI: Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama can now expect help from an unexpected quarter — Lord Hanuman.

All-India Congress Committee member Brij Mohan Bhama has organised a 11-day religious ceremony at Karol Bagh here for his success in the U.S. elections.

The idea of sending an idol of Hanuman dawned on him after friends in the United States mentioned a “prominent American politician who carried a miniature Hanuman idol in his pocket for luck,” Mr. Bhama said speaking on the first day of the ceremony on Tuesday.

“After hearing that, I decided to gift Mr. Obama a larger, gold-plated version along with the wishes of thousands of his supporters in this country,” said the leader struggling to lift the 15 kg, 21-inch brass idol.

The first-day ceremony, pranapratishta, or infusion of divine life into an idol, was performed by a dozen priests reciting mantras in tandem. It was attended by Democrats Abroad India chairperson Carolyn Sauvage, who spent over an hour at the venue.

The idol was later kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the Sankat Mochan Dham, where it will be kept for 10 more days. Mr. Bhama said several temples in New Delhi had already expressed an interest in keeping the idol for worship on their premises before it begins its journey across the Atlantic.

Along with the idol, a copy of Hanuman Chalisa, a compilation of hymns in praise of the Lord, would be sent.

“We will ensure that Mr. Obama receives the idol by August 24, a day before the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado,” said Mr. Bhama.

The Law of Asymmetrical Accusations

www.realclearreligion.org

By Jeffrey Weiss    January 19, 2013

Dr. Seuss famously told the story about one small yopp! being the difference in getting a message over. I have no illusions that my yopp! will be so effective, but here goes:

After president Obama offered his suggestions this week about ways to reduce gun-related violence, one of my Facebook friends shared an image. On the top is a photo of Adolph Hitler surrounded by kids. On the bottom is a picture of Obama surrounded by kids.

The caption says: “When Hitler announced the firearms ban, he made the announcement surrounded by children, claiming the welfare of children as an excuse. Apparently someone else thinks this is a great idea.”

There’s nothing on the image to indicate who created it. When I suggested to my friend, a religious woman with whom I’ve had any number of civil discussions, that this was simply vile, she rejected my rebuke out of hand.

“This president…has made himself a laughing stock. Two men, two photos. They’re not doctored. Why not show them?”

Why not? I was, and am, appalled at the question. As I say, I know this woman to be religious both professionally and personally, a Catholic who deeply loves the teachings and dogmas of her Church. She has more than 3,600 Facebook friends.

How could such a person think that comparing Obama to Hitler is acceptable?

She is, of course, hardly alone. And this vile behavior is not limited to one side of the political spectrum. People on the left had their Hitler mustaches on pictures of George W. Bush during the last administration.

It was and is un-American. Disrespectful not only to this country and about half of its citizens, but disrespectful to the victims of Hitler and the Nazis. It is uncivil, a way to end the possibility of accord, a declaration of civil war, a slur from which there is no graceful retreat.

And it’s stupid. Hitler did lots of things. He ran a government that was responsible for garbage pickup. Are all sanitation departments akin to Nazis? But let’s play the game more acutely. Here are two quotes. One is from Hitler, the other from Pope Benedict XVI.

“Our whole public life today is like a hothouse for sexual ideas and simulations. Just look at the bill of fare served up in our movies, vaudeville and theaters, and you will hardly be able to deny that this is not the right kind of food, particularly for the youth.”

“The world needs transparent lives, clear souls, pure minds that refuse to be perceived as mere objects of pleasure. It is necessary to oppose those elements of the media that ridicule the sanctity of marriage and virginity before marriage.”

These quotes are not, ahem, doctored. Is there any moral universe in which it would be fair to pair them? To suggest that the people who said them share anything but the possession of homo sapiens DNA? Not in the least.

I propose Weiss’s Law of Asymmetrical Accusations: It is possible for someone to be deeply and profoundly wrong about an important issue without being evil.

And a First Corollary: To suggest that someone is evil because of a disagreement over government policies is almost always itself an act of evil.

Maybe Obama is deeply and profoundly wrong about gun control, but that is not proof that he’s evil. He’s the twice-elected president of the United States, and most of his policies have the support of a majority of Americans. Do the people who compare Obama to Hitler really want to dismiss those Americans as akin to Nazis?

To do so is to declare that the majority of Americans are inherently evil and unworthy of engaging in conversation, much less debate. (See the history of the wonderful Godwin’s Law for more insight into this.)

To be clear: I’m not saying that there is no evil in this world or no evil people. But to devalue the word by using it in an argument over supersized rifle magazines renders it meaningless. And to trot out Hitler is simply ridiculous.

Look, here is why the Third Reich set the high bar for institutional evil: The Holocaust was a systematic, intentional extermination of groups of people for no reason other than their ethnic or religious identity or sexual preference, organized and run by the government, for no significant material benefit to the government or its leaders, using the best technology of the time. And it was not only not hidden, it was done with the banal openness of an agriculture department grain inventory, so that the records were preserved and available to historians.

Nothing that any dictator not named Hitler from the past century has done had that total package. Mao and Stalin were protecting their power through widespread repression. The Tutsis battled the Hutus over land. Saddam Hussein was putting down a rebellion. All were utterly and unspeakably brutal — but none of them were like Nazis.

As Shooting Probe Progresses
Police Union Seeks Funding For Trauma Treatment

As police this week continued their probe into the December 14 incident involving 28 shooting deaths, including 20 first-graders and six staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the lawyer who represents the Newtown Police Union is seeking help from the town, state, and federal governments to extend paychecks for “three to five” town police officers who were so traumatized by the incident that they have not yet been emotionally able to return to work.

Police union lawyer Eric Brown said this week that three to five of the town police officers who responded to the crime scene have been off work and collecting sick time pay in light of their being traumatized by the school shooting incident.

However, because the town provides only ten sick days for an officer annually, those police now face the prospect of being off work without pay, Mr Brown said.

The town police department has 45 members. Mr Brown said he expects that potentially 15 town police officers could be clinically emotionally affected by their response to the incident.

Mr Brown said that workman’s compensation is keyed to providing funds for people with physical injuries, not emotional injuries such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The town government has been receptive to the plight of the police officers who have not returned to work, but the town does not have paycheck funds designated for such situations, Mr Brown said.

PTSD is an insidious long-lasting emotional condition, Mr Brown said.

Police face serious, intense situations on a daily basis, he said. But what occurred at Sandy Hook School on December 14 was something on a magnitude that could not have been imagined, he said.

Twenty first-graders and six school staff members were killed after a 20-year-old gunman shot his way into the K–4 school on Dickenson Drive and went on a shooting rampage with a military-style assault rifle.

State police, town police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the US Marshals Service this week continued their methodical probe into why Adam Lanza of 36 Yogananda Street, Sandy Hook, committed the horrific crime.

Adam Lanza had shot and killed his mother Nancy Lanza, 52, in her sleep at their home before driving to the school and going on the gunfire rampage. After police encountered him at the school, Lanza shot himself to death, bringing the total number of the dead to 28.

State police this week declined comment on their investigation into the mass murder incident. An investigatory report on what occurred, including a possible motive for the gunman’s actions, is expected within several months.

Newtown Police Chief Michael Kehoe said he supports the police union’s drive to have financial compensation provided for the police officers who are off work due to their emotional reaction to the shooting incident.

Since the shooting incident, police from other municipalities have aided Newtown police with local patrol work.

“They [other police] are done, but can be called in, as needed,” he said of Newtown’s ability to have other police cover local patrol work, as needed.

On Christmas, local police patrols were fully handled by police from other towns and cities, allowing town police to have the holiday off.

Chief Kehoe declined to answer questions about the police probe into the shooting incident, referring such queries to state police.

Investigation Progresses

As the police probe has progressed, some facts of the case have become clear.

According to a reliable local law enforcement source, Adam Lanza attempted to destroy all his computer equipment to prevent any tracing of his Internet usage and his electronic correspondence. It is thought that “some or most” of the computer data will be retrieved from the damaged equipment.

The source confirmed that Lanza used a Bushmaster-brand military-style semiautomatic assault rifle to kill all victims at the school. Lanza also carried two pistols.

Also, Lanza used a different rifle to kill his mother by firing four shots at her while she was in bed at home, according to the source. Adam Lanza left that rifle at Lanza residence.

Also, Lanza shot more than 100 rounds and possibly hundreds of rounds of ammunition at the school, according to the source.

Lanza was not wearing any “body armor” when the school incident occurred.

Additionally, a teacher at the school who realized what was occurring during the shooting incident crowded all of her students into a rest room adjoining her classroom and then pulled a bookcase in front of the bathroom door to obscure it from view. The people hiding in that bathroom survived.

A man with a gun who was spotted in the woods near the school on the day of the incident was an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town, according to the source.
